RECOVERY ICE-CREAM – RECOVERY AS NEVER TASTED BEFORE!

After an intense workout your body needs not only protein, but glycogen stores also need to be replenished accordingly. Recovery Ice-cream Chocolate

Ingredients for 2 servings:

Ice-cream

  • 3 heaped tablespoons PowerBar Recovery Max Chocolate (60g)
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 200 ml almond milk

Topping

  • Slivered-cut almonds

Preparation:

  1. Combine the almond butter with the Recovery Max powder in a bowl. Gradually stir the almond milk to the mixture and continue until you have a pudding-like consistency.
  2. Roast the almonds lightly in a pan and allow them to cool down.
  3. Fill the cream in two glasses or jars and refrigerate in the freezer for 60 – 90 minutes, until the desired ice-creamy texture occurs.
  4. Allow to thaw for a few minutes and add almond slivers or just enjoy it pure!
  5. Now you have a tasty recovery to look forward to after your workout.

Berrylicious Frozen Skyr

As an alternative you can also use our raspberry flavour for an easy but very delicious ice cream. Get started and enjoy!

Ingredients for 2 servings:

Ice-cream

  • 6 heaped tablespoons PowerBar Recovery Max Raspberry
  • 6-8 tablespoons Skyr

Topping

  • 1 handful raspberries
  • approx. 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
  • a couple of mint leaves

Preparation:

  1. Add PowerBar Recovery Max powder to the Skyr and stir. Fill the mixture in two glasses or jars and refrigerate in the freezer for 60 – 90 minutes.
  2. Allow to thaw for 10 minutes.
  3. Cut the raspberries in pieces and add them together with the pomegranate seeds and a mint leave as a topping to the ice-cream.
  4. Recovery has never tasted better before!
